ABOUT US

We are Rod and Meg, the artists behind Rome Wild Photography, a name we came up with by combining our first names and our passion for the wilderness. 

 

Exploring the great outdoors has always been one of our favourite pastimes and a wonderful way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It is in the brisk fresh air where we find stillness. 

 

We started Rome Wild five years ago to be out in the fresh air no matter the weather conditions. During that time, we developed an appreciation for each season, from the freshly fallen snow to the sweltering summer sun.

 

Over the years, we built a Print Collection of our photographs curated around the four seasons of the year. Rather than photograph grand vistas, our style is more about finding the details, or the feeling of a season, like the golden sunsets of summer on rooftops, or the dew drops after a spring rain. We are passionate about immersing ourselves in the space around us, whether it’s along one of the nearby trails in the city of Toronto, or on one of our travel adventures. 

 

Whether it’s the quiet stillness of winter, the renewal of spring, the lushness of summer, or the richness of autumn, we hope our print collection inspires others to connect with the outdoors and to find beauty in every season.
