Romancing the Season: Unique Gifts for Mid-Winter
As we approach winter's halfway point, we can't help but dream of the seasons to come. In the cold, dreary days, we long for the lush greens of spring, or the vibrant skies of summer. So as we crave the months ahead, why not bring the warm seasons to us?
Spending most of our time indoors at this time of year, we will often spend the winter months decluttering and rearranging our home. It gives our space a refresh. Through switching up décor we've thrifted, photographed, or DIY'd, this exercise welcomes the warm seasons to come.
We recently upcycled the above thrifted frame using spackle putty and a lime wash mixture (equal parts paint and water) to create a colour drenched frame to match the concrete. The finished frame makes the moody botanical print pop against the grey stone walls.
While this series was photographed over multiple seasons, we hope each one inspires the passing of time, both of seasons past and the seasons to come.
